Dr. Ben Lovvorn is joined by a special guest in today’s video update—his mom, Patty Lovvorn! We continue to make progress in our project to restore the Sanctuary and enhance our church campus. Patty and Ben also look ahead to Mother’s Day this Sunday, which will a special day for your family to be in church together. Patty shares what it means to her as a mother to be in church with her family on Mother’s Day.
As you will see in the video, crews have made significant progress in demolishing the eastern wall of the Sanctuary, which will now open up significant fellowship space in the heart of our campus. The historic brick wall on the south side of the Sanctuary is being repaired, with steel supports now in place. All of the internal scaffolding will be coming down in the next couple of weeks, as progress continues to be made towards building a new steel structure and reintegrating the entire campus.
The construction of this building stands as a testimony to God’s work and faithfulness to our church. We have so much to praise Him for. Come worship with your family this Sunday! We will have photo opportunities for Mother’s Day, and we will honor our mothers in each service.
